So who is Paul?
Well my name is Paul Mohr and I am 46 years old (1967). I was an ASE certified auto mechanic right out of high school (1986) then I joined the United States Air Force after a few years. I joined so I could get into law enforcement because I really wasn't happy being a mechanic. Guess what, they made a mechanic anyway because of my test scores. I was formally trained as a hydraulics and pneumatics technician but eventually ended up having to learn Jet engines and general aircraft maintenance (crew chief) on F-4 phantom fighter jets. I served for a while on a special trouble shooting team that tried to duplicate and solve hard to trace problems the pilots wrote up during flights. Towards the end of my 4 years I was on a dedicated team that stored and readied Jets to either be sold off to other countries or decommissioned. Basically they replaced the F-4s role with a better airframe so as the jets came back from the first Gulf War we either sold them off or put them in storage.
After leaving the military I have had several jobs, mostly factory work but I was a machinist at two different shops, one of them being Mag Industries, the people who make the Mag Light flashlights. I was also a security guard for several years. I currently do not work because of problems with severe anxiety and depression but we are working on getting me back out into the real world.
I enjoy computers, guns, archery, martial arts (really any kind of weaponry) hunting and obviously vaping. I am also addicted to Second Life where I help build and modify drag cars for a racing sim. Basically I do 3-d modeling and texturing and help run the company. I will admit I haven't been on much lately so I am not much help to them. If you ever want to look me up in Second Life my name is Vladi Hazelnut.
As for vaping, I have been vaping for around 6 months now and love it. I was an off and on social smoker since a teen, so over 20 years. I never smoked a lot though and was never really dependent on nicotine. I am not the kind of person that goes a few hours and HAS to have a cigarette. I could go days or weeks without having one and it really wouldn't effect me. I did enjoy the occasional cigar and tried to start smoking a pipe at one time. The pipe was just a big pain in the ass and I gave it up. Vaping is much more satisfying and better for me to boot. My preferred drug of choice is Dr Pepper. I don't like coffee. If I don't have caffeine I will get physically sick and have horrible headaches. I did stop for a while because it is not the greatest thing for anxiety, but it didn't seem to help so screw it. The way I look at it is I don't drink, smoke, gamble or anything else. Let me have my damn soda and shut up lol.
Yep, probably more than you wanted to know, but get used to it, I tend to ramble. Its the downside to being a hermit and never leaving the house.
